People tend to be tired and lethargic at the end of the day. Right before going to bed, we would do some simple activities which includes watching television, reading a book or listening to music. More often than not, the last thing that you do before you sleep will always influence your mood and energy level for the next day. 

Having said that, successful people are well understood of this concept. Hence, most of them hit the bed as early as ten at night and wake up before sunrise. As the saying goes,

Even at an hour or two before bedtime, successful people will fully utilise these remaining times to achieve maximum productivity. Here are the top five things that they do at the end of the day. 

1. Read Books.
Generally successful people in the world are avid readers. Reading is the very last thing that they do before going to bed. Not only do they read, they also learn and apply things from the books in their lives. Self-help books are some of the useful sources for you to improve yourself and enhance your skills. 

2. Plan For The Following Day. 
Successful people always make sure that they make use of every seconds of their day. Hence, they will often plan activities for the next day before they sleep. They decide to invest their time on things that will bring them benefits beforehand instead of doing miscellaneous things that are non-productive when they wake up. You can start by writing a to-do-list every day.

3. Complete their tasks. 
They make sure that they have completed every task before calling it a day. Successful people are often committed to their to-do-list and get everything done as planned. This eventually turns into a habit in their daily activities. By getting things done, you will certainly feel relax and satisfied that you make full use of your day.

4. Spend Time With Family And Friends. 
Successful people always place their families before their works. You have to spend time with your family members and friends so that you are connected with them as well as strengthening the existing bonds. After all, success is not only determined by the amount of money you have, it also includes having healthy relationships with others. 

5. Meditate.
Many successful people spend 10 minutes meditating before sleeping. Meditation does not only helps to reduce stress and anxiety, it also improves physical health. In addition, you will feel relaxed after meditating, not to mention calm your mind after going through the hustle and bustle of the day. Hence, learn to practice meditation before you sleep each night.
