SmartShopper Malaysia Apps Review [iOS Apps]

This smart shopper application helps the consumer to save money by planning groceries purchase smarter. This is very useful to all consumers, especially when we have unavoidable expenses on household groceries every month. By saving every penny on each grocery items we purchase through this smart purchase planning, it is definitely bringing you a large savings amount when you summed up the expenses monthly.  
It also helps us save our time to decide on which supermarket to go for our grocery purchase, instead of visiting a few different retailers by comparing the price of the goods.

Account Registration 

This application requires account registration before you are able to access. 

You can register the account via Facebook authorization or creation of new account using Email. 

The system will send a verification code to your email for account creation. This also helps to proof that you are a legit user and to avoid spamming of fake account creation to the application.

Home page 
On their Homepage, they have a “Recently Viewed” section, which displayed the list of items which you have recently viewed from their apps. This is a very good feature, where you can easily search for the price of the items which you frequently search for. 
They also have a section where it displays the advertisement such as discount promo code.

Browse page 
On the browse page, it has the search function where you can enter keywords for searching. 
The application also has the filter function, where you can filter by the retailer or filter by the category of the products. 
Once you view the product, it will automatically save and display on the “Recently Viewed” section of the first page.  
When you click on the product, it will brings you to a details page where it shows the lowest, average and highest price of the product with comparison of different retailers – based on last 6 months data.

Brochure page 
On this page, it displays the list of brochures published by different retailers. You can view more promotions for each retailer with available promotional items. It is actually the same brochure where we used to read from the advertisement on newspaper, but in a digitalized form. 
This is a very good idea as within a single view on the mobile phone, the consumer can easily retrieve the promotional sources from different retailers.

My List page 
They have this feature to allow you to save the products into a favourite list and you can also choose to enable the notification function, where you will be notified when there is price update on the product you have saved.

My Profile page 
Lastly, they also have the ‘My Profile’ page where it displays your profile which you created during the registration of account. You can also logout from the account via this page.
