What Is Mentoring?

If you are promoted in your job or becoming a senior in university and you just find out that you will be assigned a mentee, congratulations! You have landed yourself in the soup and a massive responsibility (just kidding). Unfortunately, here lies a problem. Besides knowing that you have to guide the mentees, you do not have the slightest idea what mentoring actually is about. You are currently in dire need to gather some advices on how to be a great mentor and hopefully be able to help your mentees as much as you can. 

Fortunately, the lovely folks from Sainsbury Management Fellows have created an amazing infographic which explains the role of a mentor as well as a mentee. In addition, it also highlights the benefits of mentoring.
