5 Signs Your High School Friends Are Your Best Friends

Without a doubt, most of us like to reminisce our pasts especially during our high school days. This might be due to the memories, be they good or bad, that we have had with the close friends that we have made since we were young. Thus, people often try to keep in touch with their high school friends through reunions to relive various past events that have happened back in the old days. Here are five signs that your high school friends will be your lifelong friends.

1. You Feel Comfortable With Each Other.
There are no awkward moments when you are hanging out with them. Both of you embrace the silence when you were not speaking to each other at times. You can always be yourself and relax when you are going out with your high school friends even when you are not in your best shape. For example, you do not have to worry that they will judge you when you are wearing those bright neon shoes that you adore.

2. You Love To Share Moments Of The Past Together.
After being friends for years, both of you shared a lot of memories with each other. Most of your conversations are often started with, ‘Do you still remember last time when…”. More often than not, people who were not involved in those events will never understand what you have gone through with your high school friends.

3. The Conversation Never Ends.
There are just so many things to talk about when you meet your high school friends even though you have called one another almost every single day. Both of you are so closed to each other to the point that the start of the conversation such as ‘hey’ or ‘how’s life’ is no longer required. Instead, you go straight to the main point with them without wasting much time.

4. Both Of You Share Inside Jokes.
There are multiple inside jokes shared by both of you that no one else understands. For outsiders, they will think that you two are simply speaking alien language and bewilder when both of you laugh incessantly over something that they do not find funny.

5. You Always Support Each Other.
Regardless of any situation, you know that both of you have each other’s back. Even in the face of adversity and no one else trusts you, they never fail to show up for you and help you to get through those hard times. That is how solid the camaraderie between both of you after being friends for all these years.
