4 Things Only Dog Owners Understand

There are only two kinds of people in this world, those who adore dogs and those who abhor them. Some people think rearing a dog can be a difficult task at times. For instance, they have to clean its poo, feed it regularly, bathe it, and the likes. Despite the routines, keeping canine members in your family actually brings more good than harm.

“Dogs are my favourite people.” –Richard Dean Anderson.

They constantly bring joy to us as well as touching our hearts in the most unexpected way. Besides, being a dog owner also gives you the privilege that everyone else do not have such as the unspoken common understandings between you and other dog owners. Here are the four things that only dog people understand.

1. The Routine of Walking Your Dog.
You cannot run away from it. You have the responsibility to bring you dog for a daily walk for they need exercise and a change of view. This is mainly because exercise helps to keep your dog healthy and fit, not to mention aid your dog’s digestive system. Additionally, walking your dog also makes you exercise at the same time!

Keeping your dog in a confined area for a long time can bring adverse effect to your dog.

2. They Disappear During Bath Time.
While some dogs enjoy bath time, the rest are just pure hydrophobic. When they see you carrying bucket with soap and shampoos and walking towards them, they ran far away from you as if the demons are approaching. They will hide here and there and you have to search them all around the house. However, they calm down when they are getting their bath probably because they realise that it was not that bad after all and they seem to enjoy it.

3. When You Come Back From A Trip Being Away From Them.
After being away from your dog for a vacation, be it days or weeks, you will notice its excitement and joy when you return. Your dog will instantly run towards you enthusiastically the moment it sees you, along with its tail wagging happily. Moreover, they will follow you no matter where you go as if they have not seen you forever.

4. You Cannot Resist Those Puppy Eyes.
Your dog knows your weakness and it uses it against you all the time. Each time when your dog does something wrong and you want to scold it, it will stare at you with those adorable puppy eyes. In the end you could not resist the cuteness and ended up forgiving it for its wrongdoings.

Have you had those moments with your dogs before? Let me know your story and things that I have not mentioned in the comments below.
