What
is your life purpose? That question may get people to ponder over for months,
or even years to sort it out. I truly believe that we were brought to this
world for a reason, and that each of us has a significance.
“You
can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking
backwards. So you have to trust the dots will somehow connect in your future.
You have to trust in something- your gut, destiny, life, karma whatever. This
approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”
–Steve Jobs.
While some might have already known their objectives
in life, the rest of us are still struggling and have burning desire to find
our true callings. Here are three simple
yet profound questions that might help you find your life purpose.
1. Do You
Know Who You Are?
You have specific skills and talents that are
completely unique and belong only to you. You are defined by the achievements
that you have acquired throughout your life. People perceive you by the way you
behave and act in your life. Would you like to continue living with your
current identity? It is never too late to change yourself to be a better person
that you wish to be.
2. What Do You
Want?
You
think that you know what you want until you pause your hectic schedule and ask
yourself that same question. It is perfectly alright if you do not know why you
are here or what you are supposed to do in your life. More often than not,
people do not know what they want until they see them. Are you happy with what
you have now? If not, start changing by taking small steps and explore around
to see what you desire and follow your heart. After all, your intuition never
fails to make the right choice.
3. How Can You
Get There?
After answering those two questions,
you should be crystal-clear with your purpose. You ought to start making plans
to achieve the objectives that you have set for yourself. Break the plans into
small chunks and take small actions each day to help you get closer towards
your goals. Instead of focusing entirely on the destinations,
enjoy the journey!
