When you are travelling abroad, it can be a little tricky to follow the cultures and norms of the places. You will constantly feel worried as if you are walking on a minefield, being oblivious that you will get judged over your manners and offended the locals. The same thing goes with dining etiquette. It is one of the ultimate ways to show respect to your friendly and generous hosts.

What you have already known or practised since you were young may not be appropriate in certain countries. For instances, while it is perfectly fine to leave tips at certain places, doing the same thing in countries like Japan and China can be considered rude. The employees from The Restaurant Choice has come up with an impressive infographic that illustrates the do’s and don’ts across the globe. I hope it will help you to not make a fool out of yourself while you are travelling in future.
