The quality of your sleep is portrayed through your feelings when you get up. It is common for some people to feel groggy and exceptionally tired once they wake up because they simply did not get sufficient amount of sleep. In fact, there are numerous factors that can affect your sleep quality and most of them are actually evitable.

Here are the four simple tips that can help you to get a good night’s sleep.

1.  Stick To A Regular Bedtime Ritual

Work out a routine that is suitable for you and then stick to it. Most adults require six to eight hours of sleep every night. Going to bed and waking up consistently allows the biological clock in your brain to set a routine. Irregular sleeping hours can significantly reduce the quality of your sleep.

2.  Nap Wisely

While napping can be a good activity as it can recharge your energy and allow you to be more alert during the day, excessive nap can cause you to suffer from sleeping difficulty at night. If you are so tired and need a daytime snooze, do it in the early afternoon and limit your naptime to a maximum of thirty minutes.

3. Keep Those Electronics Away

Stay away from all the electronics for at least an hour before you go to bed. Those artificial lightings emitted by the screens can easily trick your brain into thinking that it is time to be awake. Thus it will refrain you from sleeping and keeps you awake although you are trying so hard to get a rest. Keep your room dark and cool so that it can help you to sleep better.

4. Choose Comfortable Mattress and Pillow

Your sleep can be affected by type of mattress and pillow you are using. Choose the ones that you feel comfortable with when you are using them. You should really consider to change them if they cause you to have sore back or stiff neck after waking up from a night of sleep.
