All
of us have friends in life. We will encounter different people with various
personalities as we go through our journey. These people will join our life at
some point of our lives. More often than not, each of them serves different
roles in our lives.
“I think if I've
learned anything about friendship, it's to hang in, stay connected, fight for
them, and let them fight for you. Don't walk away, don't be distracted, don't
be too busy or tired, and don’t take them for granted. Friends are part of the
glue that holds life and faith together. Powerful stuff.” – Jon Katz.
We
need a diverse camaraderie that will stick with us through the thick and thin in
our life. These are the people that will not only enrich our life, but also
make us living a happy life. Below are the five types of friends that we will
have in our life:
1. The Planner
The
Planner is probably the glue that holds the group together without breaking
apart. They are the ones who will always come up with gatherings or meet ups
and ensure every one turns up. In addition, they are excellent at keeping in
touch with all the friends in the group and would take the effort to find out
how everyone is doing in their life. What seems to be pretty much self-explanatory,
the Planner is incredible at organising all sorts of events, ranging from
birthday celebrations, group trips to weekend getaways.
2. The Busy One
Inviting
them over for a meet up is practically an impossible task. They are constantly engaging
themselves with all sorts of activities that they simply do not have the time
for any gatherings. All too often you would wonder how a person can be so busy
at all times and always have so many things to do. You are not even sure
whether both of you are friends anymore.
3. The ‘You-Only-Live-Once’
The
YOLO is probably the wildest amongst your group of friends. They often bring
out the little child in you, and will always make you laugh. Furthermore, the
YOLO never fail to make things more interesting than they seem. They love to go
out to town and always want to bring you with them. They live by the motto and
are always up for challenges to live their life to the fullest. Hanging out
with them will definitely make you relax and forget the stress in your life.
4. The Storyteller
The
storytellers often dominate the conversations in the group. They are able to
make the most mundane experiences into humorous incidents and they never fail
to live up the environment. Living in the spotlight, they love to tickle your
funny bone and always make your abs hurts as a result of excessive laughing.
5. The One
While
there may be numerous ‘The Ones’, they are the sun to your moon. The ‘Yin’ to
your ‘Yang’. The salt to your pepper. The One is your person who will always
stick with you regardless of any situations and they are willing to sacrifice
themselves for you. They make your life worth living. The One is the person
that you loved and are willing to spend the rest of your life with.
